Here are the patch notes:
=NEW STUFF
- New Feature: Ascension. This is an intentionally limited version of Ascension, you can expect more options to be available in it when the game officially releases.
- You can now unlock special Void Areas. Check your Objectives! (You may have some unlocked already)
- 3 new Summons can now be unlocked. Check your Objectives!
- Summon Special Traits have been replaced with Trinkets. They're effectively the same thing, but they're swappable between Summons.
=IMPORTANT CHANGES
- Passive Skill Damage and Mana Cost have been overhauled.
- Special Trait: Cunning has been removed from Ember, the Fox.
- DoT Potency multiplier is now increased based off of your Max Mana. This is explained when hovering over the WIS Stat.
- Damage-over-time effects can now critically hit.
=MISCELLANOUS CHANGES
- When hovering over skill icons at the bottom of the screen, the damage no longer displays Base Damage but instead the actual Damage it will currently inflict.
- If a Passive Skill is not used due to insufficient mana, it will no longer go on full cooldown and will instead periodically check for sufficient mana to be cast.
- Your Starting Skill now displays as an icon at the bottom of your screen.
- Your chosen Passive Skills now display as icons at the bottom of your screen.
- Summons that cast buffs will now cast this buff as soon as they are summoned. Yes, this is technically abuseable, but the quality of life is more important than anyone who may want to "cheat" the game.
- Reduced DoT Tick Speed amount in the DEX stat.
- Added a visual border to the playable area within Areas.
- You now receive less Passive Skill Mastery EXP. It was keeping up too quickly with the highest levels of your skills previously.
- Dancing Daggers now throws 4 projectiles by default and no longer increases projectile amount based off of DEX. Instead, it gains a Bleed Chance based off of INT.
- Great Divider now has a Bleed Chance bonus of 1% per INT instead of 2.5% per INT.
- Critical Damage popups no longer shake.
- Bestiary now updates live.
- Summon skills now show Mana Cost in their descriptions when applicable.
- When advancing to a new Stage, the Stage text no longer changes size.
- Passive Skill Mastery EXP is now properly abbreviated.
- Added a slight delay to the initial loading of the game to prevent occasions where 0.1s of the intro SFX will play even though you have the in-game volume set to 0.
- The title screen now fades to your World Brightness Setting.
=BUG FIXES
- Critical hits inflicted by Summons were taking into account Player Critical Damage, not Summon Critical Damage.
- Mastery Level of the Fox Summon was not properly contributing to its base Damage.
- Sometimes numbers would resolve floats improperly, displaying numbers such as 599.99999 instead of 600 in the Stats Overview screen.
