Hey everyone! The official demo for Nomad Idle is now available over on Steam. It's more updated than the itch.io version for boring marketing reasons. Your save file transfers over seamlessly unless you were playing on the web browser version, in which I'll attach the guide I have on our Discord server below.

If playing on the Web Browser version of itch.io, you can transfer your save files by doing the following:

If you're playing on the downloadable version on itch.io, you should be ready to go. Just load up Steam and it just works .

However, if you played on the Browser/Web version, it's a bit more tricky. I apologize, but I actually didn't consider this scenario, but this is how you do it:

- First, you need to download the Downloadable version of Nomad Idle on itch.io and run it at least once. This will generate the save file location you need.

- Next, open up the Browser/Web version and navigate to Settings -> Saving, then select the option to export your save files. Depending on your browser, you may need to select both save export buttons.

- Lastly, navigate to your downloads folder to get the save files. Your save file path is here: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Godot\app_userdata\Nomad Idle Move your save files there. Overwrite what's already there if necessary.
